The All Black Affair Marathon is an annual road running event organised by the All Black Affair Marathon Organising Committee, bringing together elite athletes, club runners, social runners, fitness enthusiasts, corporate teams, families and community members from across South Africa.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, 05 December 2026, the event is designed to promote healthy lifestyles, community participation, sports tourism and economic development within the Vhembe District while delivering a professionally organised and memorable road running experience for participants of all ages and abilities.
To establish the All Black Affair Marathon as one of South Africa’s premier road running events by promoting health and wellness, supporting local tourism, stimulating economic growth and creating an inclusive platform where athletes of all abilities can participate and excel.
To deliver a world-class marathon that is professionally organised, safe, inclusive and memorable while fostering community development, encouraging active lifestyles and showcasing the hospitality and beauty of the Vhembe Region.
Entry fees include VAT where applicable. The special category is reserved for Pastors and Elders of the Church over the 5 km route.
The All Black Affair Marathon proudly welcomes runners from across Vhembe District and beyond. We regularly see entries from Thohoyandou, Sibasa, Makwarela, Shayandima, Ngovhela, Nzhelele, Makhado, Lwamondo, Tshakuma, Elim, Giyani, Malamulele and Muledane, as well as runners travelling in from across Limpopo and South Africa to take on our 5km, 10km, 21.7km and 42.3km routes.
Wherever you are training from in the Vhembe District, we would love to see you on race day.
